I read some of these reviews saying Rank and File sold out. If some people would just listen to the music, instead of listening to a band just because they are punk, or heavy metal, or prog, or doo wop, hair metal, or krautrock, or disco, etc,etc. I am an old 68 year old longhaired country boy! Proud of it!! I was raised oh Bob Wills, Jimmie Rogers, Chubby Wise, Elvis, Carl Perkins, The Coasters, The Fleetwood's, then the Beatles , Stones, the 13th Floor Elevators, Seeds, Love, then Quicksilver Messenger Service, THE FUGS!, Holy Modal Rounders, Captain Beyond, Amon Duual, Can, Ya Ho Way, Sex Pistols, Stranglers, get the picture? All of Rank and File music is a real good listen!! I used to listen to them at some cool bars in Austin, Texas!! In the early 80's, there were only punk wannabes, and not much else. Then I saw Rank and File, they only got better after that! What I am trying to get across is, don't categorize music! If it sounds good to your ears, it's good! Your ears don't lie! Rank and File sounds good to my ears! I'm bettin they sound good to yours too! Adios and Peace and happy listening!!
