The file cabinet looks nice. However the assembly was not as user friendly. The hardware was in the bottom of the cabinet under the bottom drawer which made it difficult to find and then even harder to retrieve. The pre-drilled holes did not match up so instead of bolting the top on we were left with using wood screws. The cabinet does appear solid although it is mostly pressed wood. We have not used the cabinet so I cannot address how it will wear.
